Registering your podcast on Apple iTunes
Time required: 5 minutes
To increase your number of listeners, we highly recommend that you register your podcast to the Apple iTunes Podcast catalogue. This will allow people to find and subscribe to your podcast, directly inside their favorite podcast app.
The reason Politicast doesn't do it for you, is that we want you to remain the owner of your podcast episodes. That way, you can decide to switch to another podcast hosting platform in the future.
Follow the following steps on your computer (it might not work properly from a phone or a tablet):
1. Open your Politicast app on mobile or desktop
2. Click "Edit public page"
3. In the section "Register your podcast on other platforms", select the whole link and copy it.
4. Go to https://podcastsconnect.apple.com
5. Sign-in with your Apple ID
6. Where it invites to enter your “RSS feed” URL, paste your Politicast feed address that we copied at step #3. It should look a bit like this, but with your own numbers: https://www.politicast.fm/static/fs/9b7345c806334b258c3b4d39c4dc69a6/feed/rss.xml
7. Follow the steps given by Apple, to give a category and such.
News/Politics is most likely category you want to pick.
That’s it! It can take up to 48 hours for the podcast to be validated by Apple.

About us
We are a startup based in Sweden on a mission to improve the quality of the political debate in Europe.
We know that podcasts provide a great answer to the call for more transparency. We want politicians and political commentators to be able to express their ideas and share their opinions on their own terms.
To that end, we are building the first independent podcasting platform dedicated to politics.
It is called Politicast.fm and it does all the heavy lifting necessary to have a great podcast, so that you can focus on the most important part: communicating.
